‘When The Sun Came Up’ debut LP released
The debut full-length album, When The Sun Came Up, by Boone St. Thomas is now streaming. The album was recorded & produced by Boone at his studio, with additional production, mixing & mastering by Grammy Award Winning producer/engineer, Carter Jahn.

“I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. I love working on music of all kinds, and have had so many fulfilling moments in recent years producing for brands & labels, or composing and producing for films like St. Cloud Hill… but there has been a growing voice inside me that wanted to say something that was both personal and inspired by the collective experiences we are all living through. This past year, I finally gave myself the space to give it life.”
Boone has shared his journey of escaping to remote places to reflect and write the songs that inspired the album. “I think a lot of people have been reflecting. This is a time of great change. From social justice, to thinking about what kinds of lives we want to live. A lot of us have been processing, and many long overdue conversations are surfacing as a result.”
Focusing in on songs inspired by this reflection, Boone took to his home studio to polish and craft a sound for the current times. “I love so many styles of music, I didn’t set out to fit into any single genre. While I have folk tendencies, I also love experimenting with synths and soundscapes, or a good anthem. I recorded things like drums, electric guitars and synths by day, and then turned to acoustics and delicate vocals at night in the quiet hours. Carter added some really great details to songs like Wind Over Winter, which is a special one for me, and when the right sequence of tracks came together, it was like magic. That’s what has always full-length LPs special to me, and I’m really proud that we got there for this one.”
The debut comes as Boone’s 2nd single, Lovers, continues to grow in support from streaming playlists & radio. “I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve had as a debut solo artist. It inspires me that people out there are connecting with these songs, which were written hope for a better tomorrow. The sun always comes up.”
